Today Gerrard arrived at Liverpool crown court to face a bank of photographers and camera crews.
Security was set up around the courtroom and there was a police presence inside.
Dressed in a dark blue suit and tie and light blue shirt, the Huyton-born midfielder entered the courtroom first.
He took his place in the glass-fronted dock in courtroom 3.1 alongside six others for the plea and case management hearing.
He spoke only to confirm his full name, Steven George Gerrard, and enter his not guilty plea to the single charge of affray on December 29.
The Recorder of Liverpool, Judge Henry Globe QC asked the court whether there were any objections to him presiding over the trial as a local football fan.
He told the court: "I have as a general interest in football and as a person local to the area I have an interest in local football clubs including Liverpool Football Club.
"I am not season ticket holder, nor am I regular attender at Anfield, but it's right to say I have been a visitor to Anfield as a guest on handful occasions.
No counsel objected to Judge Globe and he fixed a trial date for July 20. It is estimated it will last up to three weeks.
He granted all the men conditional bail.
Pobiram stave, kje bo sedel v sredo zvečer..
Ne moreš no... Odlična predstava, verjetno najboljša do zdej v rdeči majci. bore malo od njega. Alonso po standardih, kaki šut
in opet prečka Cela obramba dobro, Insua razen enega faljenega predložka nevem če je kaj zaje*al, ostali BP, mogoče je bil Škrtel parkrat malo nezanesljiv. Kuyt tudi dobro, par lepih potez, sicer brez nekega končnega produkta ampak na splošno dobra predstava. Rafa ga zamenjal
GAZI
. Fantastično.Se bojim, da je včeraj splavala po vodi fenomenalna, skorajda enkratna priložnost. Ne vem, če se bo do konca prvenstva ponudilo kaj podobnega. Žal...The_Milkman napisal/-a:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THjAY3xMyYc
